
DAVID BOWDEN, PHD, DC, MS, CES
President & Clinical Director
Dr. David Bowden earned his doctoral degree in exercise science and also holds a doctorate in chiropractic medicine. He earned a master’s degree in rehabilitation science and has completed advanced certification as a Corrective Exercise Specialist (CES) from the National Academy of Sports Medicine.
Dr. Bowden has also continued his post-graduate education with advanced work in neurology and certifications in kinesiology taping (CKTP) and advanced myofascial techniques (ART).
After completing advanced training certifications in soft tissue injuries, Dr. Bowden served as Sports Therapy and Rehab Director with Airrosti Rehab Centers at Texas Family Medicine in Frisco, TX, working with athletes and weekend warriors in correcting neuromusculoskeletal conditions.
Dr. Bowden grew up in the Plano area and is a proud to have gone to both Plano Senior High and SMU. He understands the athlete mentality through his years of team sports including playing football through the semi-pro level. He has also competed in adventure races, strongman competitions, and powerlifting. Most importantly, he has one son who is now in college on a music and academic scholarship!

SANDRA CALDWELL, MD

Sandra Caldwell, MD graduated from medical school at The University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston and completed her residency in Family Medicine at St. Mary’s Family Medicine Residency in Grand Junction, Colorado.
She grew up in North Texas’ tornado alley in Wichita Falls and attended school in Burkburnett. After completing her B.S. degree in mathematics at Midwestern State University, she worked in the business field for several years before being drawn back to school to become a physician.
Dr. Caldwell enjoys taking care of all age ranges of patients and especially likes caring for families. As family medicine allows for a wide range of services, she cares for patients from newborn to the elderly, can perform minor dermatological procedures and laceration repair. She enjoys caring for healthy patients needing an annual physical as well as those with chronic diseases such as diabetes, hypertension, and COPD.

RICHARD HARE, DC, ART, CSCS
Clinical Director - Dallas
Dr. Hare is the newest member of the Wellness Solutions family. He is the owner/founder of Synergy Sports Rehab (inside TELOS Fitness Center). He now splits his time between the North Dallas location and the Frisco location. He is a 1999 graduate of Parker College of Chiropractic and has been practicing in the Dallas area for 18 years. He has completed extensive post-graduate training in the field of Sports Injury and Rehabilitation, and Active Release Technique (Spine, Upper Extremity, Lower Extremity, Long Track Nerve Entrapment, Biomechanics, and Master’s Course). Dr. Hare holds advanced certifications as a Corrective Exercise Specialist and Performance Enhancement Specialist from the National Academy of Sports Medicine, and as a certified strength and conditioning specialist under the National Strength and Conditioning Association. He is also an experienced practitioner of the Kinesio Taping Method, and a Level I practitioner of Graston Technique. Dr. Hare’s primary focus is the evaluation and treatment of CrossFit athletes and post-surgical rehabilitation of the spine, shoulder, hip, and knee.
Additionally, he has served as the team chiropractor for the Dallas Harlequins Super League Rugby Team, Samsung Wireless Motocross team, PlayTri Triathlon Club and is a past member of the ART Sports Medicine Team for the Ironman Triathlon. Dr. Hare’s expertise also extends to players of the NFL, MLB, PGA, WWE Wrestlers, Olympic Track & Field athletes, elite rugby players, Ironman triathletes, marathon runners, cyclists, collegiate baseball, basketball, volleyball, soccer, and football players, professional MMA fighters, and CrossFit athletes. He has also had the opportunity to work with musical groups such as the Eagles, Jimmy Buffet, and Lady GaGa. His knowledge of sports injuries comes from years of competition in pole vaulting, rugby, football, bodybuilding, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, and CrossFit.

Nurse Practitioner Martha Alkire graduated from the University of Cincinnati in 2000 and began practicing as a Nurse Practitioner that same year. Martha has been with Wellness Solutions since January of 2015. Her background includes experience in trauma/emergency and orthopedics. She has assisted with several publications. She enjoys treating the patient holistically and is interested in wellness and prevention. She loves to reach and enjoys spending time in nature and with family, including her dogs. MARTHA ALKIRE, MSN, CNP
Physicians Assistant Kaylee Davis Aguirre, PA earned her Physician Assistant Masters degree at the University of North Texas Health Science Center. In undergrad she played collegiate tennis for Colorado Mesa University in Grand Junction, Colorado and played for the Division II National Championship. She grew up in West Texas with her family in Abilene. She spends her time with her husband, Ramon and two huskies. She and her husband still enjoy playing tennis and all things outdoors. Kaylee has been in family medicine since graduating in 2018. She enjoys educating patients of all age ranges on acute and chronic diseases. Her favorite part of medicine is the learning never stops and forming her relationships with her patients. Kaylee Davis Aguirre, PA
Physical Therapist Gisele is a Physical Therapist (PT) who graduated from the FURB- Universidade Regional de Blumenau S.C- in Brazil in 1998 and has more than 15 years of experience in orthopedic rehabilitation. Gisele speaks fluent Portuguese, Spanish, and English. After graduating, she worked in an Orthopedic Rehab Center at the Nossa Senhora da Imaculada Conceição Hospital in Brazil. Gisele attended courses and conferences through the N.S.I.C. Hospital networks and has been trained in many manual techniques which allow her to develop individualized treatment approaches utilizing many different philosophies. In Chile, she worked primarily with orthopedic outpatients, treating surgical and non-surgical conditions involving all parts of the body. During her stay in Chile, she received specialized training in Aquatic Physical Therapies (APT) as the well-known Bad Ragaz, Watsu, and PNF. Gisele is also certified in the Kinesio Taping (CKTP) and in the Isostretching Method (ISM), a French Postural Re-education Method. Neurodiagnostic Specialist
Scott McCauley is a native of Denver, Colorado. He started pursuing physical therapy while undergoing his undergraduate degree in Sports Medicine at Colorado State University. While there he was the president of the pre-physical therapy club on campus, where he was able to learn and connect with local and national physical therapy programs. He then went to the University of Southern California to get his doctorate in physical therapy. While at USC he was also able to be a part of published research articles on exercise physiology. After graduation, he started his career in Washington, D.C. working as an outpatient physical therapist on Capitol Hill where he was specializing in orthopedic rehabilitation.
He then returned to Southern California to do a two-year residency for electromyography (EMG) in Los Angeles, eventually getting his Electrophysiological Clinical Specialty (ECS). Since that time, Scott has performed EMG testing for a variety of medical specialties including neurology, orthopedics, rheumatology, podiatry, neurosurgery, and physiatry. Scott now teaches in the accredited residency that he took five years ago.
Scott performs a complete study that is tailored to the chief complaint of each patient, in conjunction with the physical exam to better guide a more thoughtful and thorough EMG exam. During the exam, he creates a comfortable environment that often leaves patients feeling at ease and cared for. The comprehensive exam is a valuable tool that will provide findings that assist the referring physician in their plan of care for the diagnosis given.

Alexis (Lexi) Pagán
Lexi was born and raised in Fort Worth, TX. She played soccer, volleyball, flag football, and ran track throughout her years growing up. After graduating from Paschal High School in 2015, she went on to pursue Exercise and Sports Science at Texas State University in San Marcos, TX. There she majored in Exercise and Sports Science and joined the sorority Delta Gamma. Her greatest accomplishment at Texas State was when she presented her research project the "Social and Epidemiological Assessment of Wood County, Texas" at the 12th annual Texas State University Undergraduate Research Conference in April 2019. Lexi graduated with her Bachelor's Degree in Exercise and Sports Science with a Concentration in Health and Wellness Promotion in August of 2019. She then went on to pursue her Master's Degree at Tarleton State University in Stephenville, TX. In May 2021, Lexi graduated with her Master's Degree in Kinesiology. Aside from schooling, Lexi also has a personal training certification and a corrective exercise specialist certification. Outside of work, Lexi has 2 dogs, a Shih-Tzu and a Standard Poodle. She loves socializing, playing soccer, and traveling.
