Licensed Massage Therapist


Compensation: Hourly Based on Experience

Job Title: Manual Therapist

Location: Grapevine, TX

We are an integrative medical office looking to bring on a full time massage therapist to work along with our clinical staff to provide care to our patients. We also require that the therapist be comfortable and confident in performing chair massage in the office and out at marketing events.

Summary:

The Massage Therapist is responsible for consulting and performing various treatments in a professional and comfortable setting. With their touch, therapists relieve pain, help rehabilitate injuries, improve circulation, and relieve stress, increase relaxation and aid in the general wellness of clients. This is a great opportunity to work in a fun environment and be apart of a team with the mission to provide a 360 degree view of healthcare to help patients avoid unnecessary medications and surgeries.

Hours:

Monday-Thursday 8a-6p, Friday 8-1p.
Marketing events can vary depending on the type. Some weekend or evening work may occur.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Performs massage therapy and touch modalities
  • Completes S.O.A.P. notes, maintains accurate documentation and filing of client files after each visit. Follows HIPAA compliance
  • Conducts massage consultations, recommends stretches for clients at home and provides guidance and wellness advice to clients
  • Maintains treatment area in a neat, professional manner
  • Assists practice in activities including staff meetings, promotions and routine clean-up
  • Presents a professional, well-groomed appearance
  • Works effectively with co-workers, customers and other by sharing ideas in a constructive and positive manner
  • Conduct self in an ethical, legal, and responsible manner at all times
  • Aid in community marketing efforts for band awareness. This could be reaching out to new leads, in person visits or chair massage events
  • Any other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Prefer two years' experience, professional state license

Education/Experience:

Prefer a minimum of two (2) years experience

Computer Skills:

Proficient with Microsoft Office suite, various office equipment within the office setting, electronic documentation and medical records

Certificates and Licenses:

Texas state licensed and/or licensure eligible

Nurse Practitioner


Reports To: Supervising Doctor

Status: Non-Exempt Statewide

Location: McKinney and Frisco

Summary: The Nurse Practitioner is responsible for evaluation and management exams along with in-office procedures; which includes, but is not limited to trigger point and joint injections, as well as any other ancillary procedures that may have an added benefit to the Physical Medicine approach to treating patients with neuromusculoskeletal conditions. Coordinating health care for the physical medicine patients in accordance with state and federal rules and regulations and the nursing standards of care (assessment of health status, diagnosis, and evaluation of patient status). Injection procedures and clinical management is conducted in collaboration with other health care team members.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Independently perform age-appropriate history and physicals for complex acute, sub-acute and chronic patients
  • Perform examinations specifically determining if joint injections (knee, shoulder, SI) or trigger point injections are indicated
  • Interprets diagnostic and therapeutic tests relative to patients age-specific needs
  • Obtains written consent from the patients, for the procedures. Implements injection procedures to support the patient to regain or maintain physiologic stability, including but not limited to serving in the first assisting role to the other health care team members
  • Assists with the provision of supervised medical procedures in accordance with facility, state and federal regulations
  • Monitors the effectiveness of interventions
  • Proficient in the Electronic Health Records systems to be able to document examination results, SOAP notes/injection procedures, treatment plans and patients’ outcomes. Including, but not limited to proper diagnosis codes, re-exams and follow-ups
  • Facilitates the patients transition within and between health care team members
  • Collaborates with multidisciplinary team members by making appropriate referrals back to the originating physician or group
  • Facilitates staff, patient and family decision making by providing educational tools regarding the procedures offered as well as gives instructions for post-injection follow-up
  • Keeps inventory records of substances used and ordered for procedure specific materials
  • Coordinates with staff for scheduling and re-scheduling patients
  • Provides feedback to the supervising MD/DO and referring physicians regarding the treatments provided
  • Conduct self in an ethical, legal, and responsible manner at all times

  • Must have Graduated from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
  • Must be actively licensed in the state of Texas without restrictions
  • Communication Proficiency both verbal and written
  • Excellent Patient / Provider Relations skills

Education/Experience:

  • Must have graduated from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
  • Prefer experience in physical medicine and/or in chiropractic setting

Computer Skills:

  • Strong experience using computers and computer systems
  • Proficient with Microsoft Suite

Certificates and Licenses: Must be actively licensed in the state of Texas without restrictions

Position Description:

Wellness Solutions is looking for a chiropractor that wants to be part of a growing practice. Wellness Solutions is an integrated medical office focused on providing the best in health care solutions. We blend the practices of rehabilitation, chiropractic, massage therapy, and leading medical solutions to provide our patients with expansive healthcare options to keep them off of medications and out of surgery when appropriate. The right candidate will be able to work alongside our Medical Doctors, Nurse Practitioners, Licensed Vocational Nurses, Registered Nurses, Chiropractors, Rehabilitation Specialists, and Muscular Therapists to execute care plans.

We are looking for a chiropractor who is ready to be part of a team that is growing rapidly as Wellness Solutions now serves in four locations across the DFW area. Our Grapevine practice is a newly acquired practice and is in need of a dynamic leader willing to do what it takes to grow the practice, support the staff and provide expansive medical care to out patients.

Hours of Operation:

Our office is open Tuesday-Friday and will expand to Monday-Saturday.

Compensation:

Position offers a base salary pay with incentives. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Candidate must be able to perform manual adjustments and be proficient at this. Along with, having knowledge on active and passive rehabilitation procedures to direct the patient(s) through the appropriate treatment plan
  • Perform musculoskeletal and neurological evaluations and properly diagnose based on those results/findings. 
  • Complete and maintain patient records/notes that follow current recommended guidelines and compliance procedures through state and federal agencies.
  • Perform and review x-rays in a manner that follows state and federal guidelines and be able to dictate findings accurately to the patient(s) 
  • Ability to consult, recognize, and refer patient(s) to the appropriate health care practitioner

Work Environment:

Our Grapevine location is in a growing phase. We are looking for a practitioner that can hit the ground running. The candidate must understand that the work environment does not just include the building the practice is located in. Each practitioner that is currently employed must devote time and energy to marketing, developing and nurturing relationships in the community. This is a must!

Front Desk Staff


We are looking for a new team member to compliment our staff! This is a floating position and would require that you travel between locations. Our offices are located in Plano, Frisco, Grapevine and McKinney. If you are unable to travel between these locations please do not apply for this position.

Basic Job duties include:

  • Greets patients and visitors to the practice
  • Registers patients in the electronic medical record system which may mean entering information given verbally or on registration forms
  • Collects identification and insurance cards and copies or scans them for the record, may photograph the patient for the record
  • May collect co-pays or other monies
  • Prints encounter form (also called super bill, routing slip, or fee ticket) with updated information, or updates information on the encounter form
  • Has patient sign financial agreement, receipt of privacy policy, benefits assignment, etc.
  • May answer phone calls, take messages and make appointments
  • Directs visitor (drug reps, salespersons, etc.) appropriately.
  • Reviews services received by patients, checking to make sure that all services received were checked on the encounter form
  • Enters charges in the computer system for services received
  • Tells patient if any additional monies are owed if co-pay was collected at check-out
  • May sign patient on to a payment plan if needed
  • Takes monies owed, posts monies and produces a receipt for the patient
  • Makes return appointment for the patient if needed, or enters recall into the practice management system
